Villa Edo

Myself and our group have recently returned from our stay for a week at Villa Edo - what a wonderful, beautiful home! The villa was pristine throughout, excellent aircon, and bags of space for our group of 10. The kitchen in particular was amazingly well stocked with lots of big pans and cooking equipment for us to use. The pool and outside gardens were beautiful and peaceful, and trips to the local shops / Cortona a quick 10min drive. Our hosts too were absolutely lovely, really flexible with check in and check out/return of deposit (we had an early start on check out day, but happily organised return of deposit for the night before). We already miss this place, and can't wait to be back in the future!

An absolutely fantastic villa - not to mention the small house beside it. Beautiful garden, incredibly well equipped kitchen and very well kept pool. But the best was probably the pizza oven What a great surprise! Irina who met us was very kind and helpful, we lacked nothing! There were shops and restaurants within a few minutes driving, don´t miss the market days! And remember to take a stroll among the grapevines after dark - hundreds of fireflies - magic!

The place worked perfect for our family.

A perfect spot for a holiday with kids and friends/family. A big swimmingpool with beds, pizzaoven, bbq-spot and a lot of space. There is a lot of space in the house and outside.

Sehr schöne Location. Tolles Ambiente.
Klimagerät im Nebengebäude funktioniert nicht.
Uns persönlich hat es nicht gestört.
Wir würden wieder dort buchen.

Excellent stay

We had to most wonderful stay at Villa Edo. The position of the VIlla, slightly off the beaten track, enabled us to have a peaceful holiday surrounded by the most incredible scenery. The Villa itself was stunning and comfortable inside with all mod cons. The charming owner met us when we arrived and said it was our home from home for the duration of our stay. The glorious village of Cortona is only 10 minutes away. The swimming pool was gorgeous and very well maintained. I would definitely stay again and miss the wonderful views we had when we woke up in the morning and opened the green shutters. Posarelli Villas were extremely helpful and very quick to get back to us with any queries we had. 10 out of 10 for service.

Das Grundstück ist sehr schön und ruhig gelegen und mit Auto gut zu erreichen. Die beiden Häuser mit großen Garten und Pool haben keine Wünsche offen gelassen. Für Unannehmlichkeiten wurden wir, vom Vermieter in ein von der Familie betriebenes Restaurant, eingeladen. Das Essen war sehr gut. Im Großen und Ganzen haben wir eine sehr schöne Urlaubszeit mit unserer Familie verbracht. Wir würden hier auf jeden fall wieder Urlaub machen.
Mit den Klimaanlagen in beiden Häusern hatten wir leider kein Glück. Auf Anfrage kam Jemand vorbei und schaute sich die Lage an und für den nächsten Tag wurde ein Monteur beauftragt. Aber er kam nur zur Schadensbegrenzung und konnte nicht alle Klimaanlagen im Haus instand setzen. In dem kleinen Haus funktionierte die gesamte Zeit keine Klimaanlage und im großen Haus mit 4 Zimmern gingen auch nur 2 Klimaanlagen.

De locatie was perfect. Dichtbij het schitterende Cortona en op rij afstand van de mooiste steden van Toscane. Het huis was erg mooi met uit elk raam het meest romantische uitzicht. Ook fijn dat de meeste slaapkamers een eigen badkamer hebben. De pizza oven en bbq, de sauna, de vloerverwarming, de open haard, de grote keuken, het heerlijke zwembad dat niet al te dicht bij het huis ligt en de vele kruiden in de tuin om mee te koken waren mijn favoriet. Waar je ook kijkt zie je bloemen. De wifi was overal goed. Waterdruk in de badkamers echt heel fijn. De eigenaar was gewoon geweldig. Betere service kun je je niet wensen. Super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Wij gaan zeker nog een keer terug.

We stayed recently at the villa because we had a wedding in Cortona. It was only my husband and I and our 2 kids but there was so much room for additional people- there were 3 bedrooms we didn’t even use. The owner was so welcoming and made us feel at home instantly, showing us around The villa with a fire already burning ( it was a little cold at night when we went). The villa itself is very modern and interesting inside- great kitchen, sauna, jacuzzzi all new fixtures. So many places to sit outside to enjoy the view. The pool was too cold when we went ( early April) but it was easily accessible and beautiful as well, very well kept. If you’re thinking of booking a villa don’t hesitant- this was the highlight of our 2 week trip.

We have chosen our dream villa to celebrate a special birthday. Everything was exactly as we hoped it would be. The villa is great and modern and also the large garden is very well maintained and even in the autumn beautiful places around to sit outside. Thank you Posarellivillas for the support .

Außergewöhnlich schöne Villa, sehr ruhig gelegen. Wir waren 3 Paare mit Kindern und alles hat bestens geklappt. Unser weitestes Ziel war Perugia, was sehr schön ist. Auch der See ist mal eine Abwechslung, aber wenn man ein Haus hat wie unseres muss das nicht sein. Wir haben uns unglaublich wohl gefühlt und fanden alle, dass es ein ganz besonderes Haus mit moderner und persönlicher Einrichtung ist. Außerdem hatten wir tolle Tipps für die Umgebung und Geheimtipps für Insider- Restaurants die grossartig waren. Vielen Dank.

We immediately felt very comfortable in this personally furnished villa. Everything was extravagant and very thoughtful. The swimming pool was of course our favorite place during the day.
Great starting point to visit a large part of Tuscany and also some places of Umbria.
Definitely recommendable!
